Happy Birthday Brody!!

Happy Birthday to our sweet son Brody!  It has been an exciting month celebrating our favorite boy! Brody wanted a bowling birthday party this year so we had a party a few weeks ago at Bowlmor.  He invited some of his school friends, along with our families. Everyone had a fun time!  Brody wanted an Iowa Hawkeye themed birthday this year and on the invitation I asked to have the kids wear their favorite team shirt or jersey which was fun!

We took our annual trip to the water park for Brody's birthday. We went up the night before and stayed over into his real birthday. The kids had a great time at the amusement park, arcade and water park. We played laser tag for the first time and the kids loved it!  We went back to Grizzly Jack's this year which is the same place we have gone to for the past 3 years.

Brody had a fun birthday week with trips to Happy Joe's and Chuck E. Cheese.  The week that followed Brody's birthday was spring break for the kids so after getting home from the water park we spent the week doing fun things around here.  We went to the movies, attended an Easter event at Chick fil A, spent the day in Iowa City at the Children's Museum and shopping, and went to Peoria for fish bowling and the museum.  We had a great break and I was sad to see it end!

Another big event happened in our house this month, Brody lost his first tooth!  He was very brave and pulled it out himself!  This was about two weeks ago and then last weekend on Saturday he lost his second one.  He was so excited for the tooth fairy to come!
