Almost 15 months!

Brody will officially turn 15 months old this Friday. We are all doing great and Brody is doing new things each day as usual. This weekend was kind of extra special because Brody began "play talking" on his play phone and will come over and hug us when we "fake cry" for comfort. Let's just say both of these things are absolutely precious and pretty amazing moments for both of us as parents. Neither one of us taught him to do these things, it's just something he has picked up.

Brody has become Mommy's little laundry helper. Mommy lets him help her with his clothes. They pretty much all get thrown out of the basket but he is nice enough to put them back in. He likes to take the nicely folded piles of clothes and knock them over. Now only if we can teach him to fold them and put them away?

We had several plans this past weekend but the entire weekend was pretty much a wash out due to rain. We were suppose to do Race for the Cure on Saturday morning but when we got over to Moline where they have the race they ended up canceling it due to thunderstorms. We had planned on swimming and a few other things outside on Sunday but had another rainy day. Yesterday we had severe downpour for about half an hour which resulted in the most water we have ever had in our basement in the 3 years we've lived here, it was so bad Daddy had to leave work early. It is strange how we got no water after a whole weekend of rain but one hard downpour caused us to get so much. Needless to say just makes us more ready to move on to our next house.

Our bathroom remodel is finished and it has exceeded our expectations! We couldn't be happier, it looks so nice! What a long way it has come from when we bought the house.

Brody continues to walk like crazy and is pretty much everywhere! He is currently getting his other two molars on the left side of his mouth. Once those have fully come in we will have a total of 11 teeth! We are sure that more are on the way! Brody continues to eat like a champ and is still not refusing anything we give him so that is great! He loves milk and drinks a few glasses a day already. Mommy has decided to not introduce juice as long as he is taking the milk as well as he is. We are sure he will have plenty of juice in the years to come. We have a busy, busy weekend coming up with birthday parties and Father's Day. We would like to wish our Father's, friends who are Dad's and family members who are Dad's a very Happy Father's Day!
