15 months, birthday parties and more!

As of Friday Brody turned 15 months old. We had a very busy weekend! On Friday night our friend Teagan had his 1st birthday party at Wise Guy's Pizza. Teagan was not so crazy about his birthday cake but Brody dug right in to his piece, getting it everywhere, including his hair! On Saturday we drove up to Cedar Rapid's for our friend Kiera's 1st birthday. Brody loved playing with the big balloons and all of the kids there! On Saturday night Mommy and Daddy were able to meet up with our friends Stephanie and Jordan and a few others while Brody spent some time with Grandma Diane. On Sunday we celebrated Father's Day by going out to lunch and then to Grandma Diane and Grandpa Mel's for dinner and swimming. Brody loved the pool as always. Yesterday it was really warm so we got out Brody's baby pool and water table. As always he enjoyed every minute!

Brody continues to become stronger by the day with his walking and is talking up a storm. He has developed his own little language and we can tell he is trying to tell us something important, just aren't quite sure what it is! He tries to push any table or chairs around like it is a walking toy, including his activity table and our kitchen chairs. We continue to notice that we have quite the little flirt on our hands. Brody is constantly waving and flirting with women we see out and about, whether it is at the store, a restaurant, etc. He will tilt his head to the side like he is being shy and even has started to wink! He continues to light up our lives each and every day! We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer!
