We're playing basketball!!

Our basketball season is off to a great start!  We have now had three games and the kids are doing awesome!  I am so proud of all the kids and very proud of Tim and his coaching skills!  This is the first sport Brody has ever played and I am so proud of him and how well he is doing.  He takes the game very seriously and tries so hard every week.

Brody has been blessed with a huge cheering section at his games.  For his first game almost all of the family was able to come-Grandma Diane and Ampa, Jackson, Grandma Barb and Roy, Aunt Kim, Aunt Melissa and Julia and Maggie.  Uncle Craig was with Carter while he napped and Aunt Kari was at work.  Brody continues to have a cheering section at each game which he really likes and that really makes him want to do his best!

Brody has scored baskets in his first and third game and has had several shots at other times as well.  We have been working with him at home on taking his time when he goes for a shot as he gets so excited when he has the ball that sometimes he shoots too quickly.  He is doing very well with dribbling and moving up and down the court.  For only being in Kindergarten I am very proud of this group of kids and how well their skills are coming along!  Watching their games is a lot of fun!
