Happy 3rd Birthday Briana!!!

So hard to believe it has been three years since our sweet baby girl entered our lives!  It is impossible now to imagine a day without her in it!  We spent the last week celebrating her with lots of fun activities.  On her actual birthday, last Sunday, we had a cook out at a park with family.  The kids enjoyed playing at the playground, drawing with chalk and chasing each other around.  Last Monday we headed to Adventureland for the day.  The kids had an absolute blast!!!  We could not have asked for greater weather!  Brody wanted to go on every ride and he was not happy when he was not tall enough for a few of them.  The kids loved the water park and enjoyed going on all the slides and floating in the lazy river.  On Wednesday we went to the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines and also to the Des Moines Science Center.  The zoo was not too busy as it was raining a little at that time but the science center was packed (probably due to the rain and the end of the summer!).  The kids really enjoyed both and I would like to take them back there sometime (maybe when school is in session so we can enjoy it a little more).  We had Briana's birthday party on Saturday night with close friends and family.  I rented out the kiddie pool at Splash Landing in Bettendorf.  All the kids had such a great time!!  Briana was very excited for her birthday this year and I think we did a great job celebrating it!  She got a lot of nice gifts and we are so thankful to everyone who helped make her day extra special!!  Happy, Happy 3rd Birthday to our sweet baby girl!  We love you more than you will ever know and are so blessed to have you in our lives!!!
