Happy Birthday Mommy!

This past week we celebrated my birthday and as you get older is just another day, but when you have kids, they love the fact that it is a day to celebrate which makes it that much more special. We went out to dinner on my birthday at Lunardi's with my parents, Aunt Kari and Jackson. It was a nice day and very nice weather wise which made it even more enjoyable. Thank you to everyone for your cards, phone calls and messages, it always means so much!

This weekend we had very nice weather so we made our first trip to the park this year. Brody had so much fun and he is much older this year and able to do more things. His favorite thing as always was the sticks (such a boy!) We also had our second art class on Friday which he loved and I really like it too. I will be sad to see it end in 4 weeks but we may just have to enroll again next fall, we will see how busy preschool has us.

In less than a week Brody will be turning 3!! I just can't believe it! I am having a harder time with this birthday than any of the others. It is just so crazy how fast they grow up. He is very excited to celebrate this weekend and so are we. We have lots of St. Patrick's Day things planned for this week too so it is going to be a great week! They are also forecasting temperatures in the 70's so we will definitely be enjoying that!! We did Brody's 3 year pictures yesterday and even though they were tough to get we did get some really good ones. He just does not want to sit still, even with the bribe of getting a cookie afterwards. We decided to do pictures of just him this time because we knew they would be hard to get.

Not much else is new. Briana is a babbling, drooling, smiling machine these days. She is sitting and trying very hard to crawl but is not quite there yet which is totally fine with me! She is my last baby so she can wait until 1 to crawl if she wants. She is such a happy little girl and is very, very curious about all of her surroundings! She is exploring everything she can get her hands on. Sleeping has been getting better, we have around 5 to 6 hour stretches under our belt now for most nights. Daylight savings has messed both kids sleep cycles up a little, I could not get them out of bed this morning. Hope everyone is doing well!
