10 and a half months

We are pleased to say that Brody is doing much better than our last post! The hives are completely gone and everything is back to normal. It took almost a week for the hives to disappear. Brody is doing really well, he continues to pull up on everything and make his way around the entire house. He has been saying "Ma-Ma" and "Da-Da" for several months now but in the past few weeks he has started to say them on command. We tried a couple types of "people" food this week with Brody. He tried baby yogurt, Club crackers and mashed potatoes. He seemed to really like all of them. He is at the stage where everything goes in his mouth so we are thinking that trying new things may not be too difficult. Brody is just starting to stand on his own without hanging onto whatever is near him. Yesterday Mommy found him standing on his own in the middle of his crib without hanging onto the crib rail. Brody has developed a special relationship with our dog, Addison. He just loves her, always wants to be near her and touching her and always smiles and laughs when he sees her. We are getting close to the time of year when we have a lot of birthday's between our two families. It is funny because Brody's birthday is pretty much right in between Mommy and Daddy's birthday's. We have been working hard to prepare for Brody's First Birthday, that is definitely going to be our big celebration of the year!
