We had Brody's 9 month check up yesterday. The doctor says Brody is doing great! He weighs 20 pounds, 13 ounces and is 27 inches long. He has come such a long way from being just 6 pounds when he was born. The doctor said his weight will start to slow down now because he is becoming more active and is able to move around more now. Brody has been waving and clapping his hands for about a month now. He is beginning to wave at everyone he sees, even people on T.V. and pictures of himself on the wall. It is really cute to watch. Brody continues to pull up on everything and is all over the house. We have been walking with him holding our hands and he really likes that. This morning we found him standing in his crib on his own for the first time. Changing diapers and putting clothes on him are next to impossible these days because all he wants to do is move, move, move! Daddy had a nice trip to New York and made it home safely after a few little delays due to the weather. We got around 6 inches of snow last Thursday but it is looking like temperatures near 30 degrees for the next week or so, or so we hope! Brody loves to sit in the window and watch it snow. He also loves watching the birds eat from our new bird feeder (a wonderful Christmas gift from our good friends the Luchsinger's), this one is specially made to keep the squirrels out which is a problem we had with our bird feeder in the past. We spend a lot of time looking out the window! Not much else is new around our house, just trying to stay warm and enjoying every new thing each day brings with our little man!
50 degrees yesterday!

First picture is my new screen saver. He looks so serious. Very focused like his father.
