Brody's First Christmas

Wow, what a busy week it has been for us! First off we hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We know we did! Over the past week we celebrated Christmas 7 different times. We also celebrated cousin/niece Maggie's 4th birthday and cousin/niece Julia's 6th birthday. Brody had a wonderful Christmas, he was overly spoiled by friends and family. We say that we now own every toy on the market that is geared towards his age group and we really aren't kidding! Brody really didn't quite get the concept of opening presents this year, he more enjoyed putting the boxes, tissue and wrapping paper in his mouth. What a difference a year makes as we really enjoyed celebrating this year as a family of 3 as opposed to it usually just being the two of us. Aunt Kimberly and her boyfriend Craig were able to spend the holiday with us this year which was nice. She was able to stay an entire week which gave us many opportunities to spend time with her which we don't always get when her trips are shorter. She will be home again in March to celebrate Brody's 1st Birthday (which will be here before we know it!) It has been a busy week and we are looking forward to relaxing over the next few days and trying to get back on our normal schedule. Brody's two top teeth have officially broken through the skin now, the first one made it's full appearance last Monday and the second on Saturday. The two teeth on either side of the two front ones (eye teeth) are not far behind so soon we will have four teeth on the top. Brody continues his army crawl and is now able to make it around the entire house with no problem. He is enjoying all of his new toys and playing with something different all the time. We hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas and are looking forward to celebrating the upcoming New Year!!
