Brody's First Thanksgiving

Brody celebrated his first Thanksgiving this past week. We had lunch on Thursday with mommy's side of the family and then went over to Grandma Candy's to spend some time with daddy's side of the family. Everyone just loved seeing Brody and kept telling us how cute he is! We celebrated Brody's "big buddy" Brayden's 2nd birthday on Saturday by going to his birthday party. There were so many kids there and Brody just loves to watch the big kids run around and play. Brody also got to meet his new friend, baby Carter, and spent some time playing with his little friend Tatum. We were able to spend time with all of our good friends this weekend which was nice. Brody continues to do his "spiderman" crawl, he is having a hard time getting his arm out from under his body but we will get there. We introduced him to meat this week in the form of baby food and he seems to do okay with it as long as it is mixed with something else. He got to have turkey and sweet potato baby food on Thanksgiving. Other exciting news in our family is that Papa Mike made it back safely from the Middle East. He surprised us by arriving home early, we weren't expecting him until later next summer. We hope that everyone had a very nice Thanksgiving and this year we are both so thankful for our beautiful, healthy, baby boy!

Brody is the MOST precious little boy His smile melts my heart. But my favorite moments are when I get to hold him & he cuddles.
Seeing Brody with his fingers in his mouth takes me back 29 yrs.

How blessed I am to have such a wonderful son, daughter-in-law & sweetest grandson ever.
