Happy Easter and Happy Birthday Daddy!

This year Easter happened to fall on the same day as Daddy's birthday. We tried to do some birthday celebrating throughout the week so Tim would feel like he had a special day.  Easter weekend was very busy but the kids were so excited for Easter and the Easter bunny this year!  We did our annual Easter egg hunt at the zoo and even though it was freezing the kids were very into the egg hunting this year and both of them made out very well. We tried the Easter egg hunt at the Fairgrounds here in town for the first time this year.  It was a little crazy and parents are not allowed to go out with their kids which was a little scary but the kids did well and seemed to enjoy it. We celebrated Easter with both families and the kids got to have Easter egg hunts at both grandparent's houses as well. We did an Easter Bunny breakfast this year and also visited him at the mall. Both kids loved seeing him and were very excited for him to visit!

Briana got her first haircut this past month!  I had been debating a long time about doing it as I really didn't want to have to cut her hair just yet.  It was getting tangled on the ends and making it difficult to brush at times so I decided to get her a trim.  Not much was taken off but it really has made a huge improvement in brushing it. She went to the lady that used to cut my hair when I was little so that made it an extra special experience. She was very well behaved and enjoyed the special treatment!
