Halloween Fun!

We lucked out this year and had some pretty nice weather for Halloween.  Last year it rained on the night of trick or treat so we only went trick or treating at the local grocery store and skipped going to houses because of the crummy weather.  This year we went to Boo at the Zoo and had a beautiful day with 60 degree temperatures.  The kids did not even have to wear coats with their costumes!  When we were done at the zoo we went to the Bettendorf Halloween Parade.  After the parade we went and did trick or treating at Hy Vee.   They usually do this on the same night as trick or treat but this year they chose to have it on Saturday instead.  The kids had a great time and enjoyed getting lots of candy!

Davenport always has trick or treating the night before Halloween.  We ended up with a very nice night this year.  Halloween ended up being in the 30's so we were glad we went when we did.  We went around our neighborhood this year so all the neighbors could see the kids in their costumes.  We also trick or treated at the Grandparents houses.  The kids had a great time and really got the trick or treat and saying thank you part this year.  Needless to say we ended up with way too much candy, luckily I can send most of it with Daddy to his work!
