This weekend we celebrated Briana's baptism. It was a very special day that included our families and very close friends. The weather was nice which helped a lot too (as it is snowing here while I write this). We all went to church first and I have to shout my praises for my son and nephew Jackson as they were on their best behavior at church! I spent all week packing a special backpack full of activities and thankfully it worked! We had Briana baptized immediately following the 11 o'clock mass on Sunday. Her Godmothers were Aunt Melissa and Aunt Kimberly and her Godfather was our friend Carvell. Everything turned out very nice and we had a small luncheon immediately following at Grandma Diane and Grandpa Mel's house, a special thank you to both of them for letting us have it there. Thank you to everyone who participated in her special day! And a special thank you to Grandma Barb for making Briana's beautiful gown, it was amazing!
This weekend Aunt Kimberly and Uncle Craig were in town for the baptism. We are glad they were able to make the trip to celebrate with us.
We would like to wish Papa Mike a very Happy Birthday as he celebrated his 60th birthday last Thursday!! We hope he has a wonderful year to come and really wish we could have been there to celebrate with him.
Not much else is new around here. Both of our kids seem to finally be on the mend from their virus they had last week. Brody continues to say new words all the time and Briana is very close to rolling over. She gets turned fully on her side and if she would just lay down flat she would be there but she hasn't quite got that part yet. Briana seems like she may be a pacifier baby as opposed to her brother who would rather have his two fingers. That's about all that is new here, hope everyone is doing well!
