Happy Easter Everyone and Happy Birthday Daddy!

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter and enjoyed their weekend. We sure did! Brody was spoiled by the Easter Bunny, family and good friends. We spent Saturday night celebrating Easter at Great Grandma Candy's with Aunt Melissa, Uncle Brett, Julia, Maggie, Great Grandma Candy and Uncle David. Julia and Maggie did very well with the Easter egg hunt and found a lot of eggs! Brody, as expected, only wanted to put the eggs in his mouth but his cousins were very generous and put a few of their eggs in his bag. We had a nice dinner and combined celebrating Easter and Daddy's birthday into one night. We woke up Sunday morning to find the Easter Bunny had come to our house and left many nice things for Brody, two full baskets and a few things on this sides as well! He also left a few eggs behind. Brody did better this time collecting eggs because it was inside and he could crawl around and pick them up. He even put them into his basket! We went to church in the morning with Grandma Diane, Aunt Kari and cousin Jackson. Amazingly Brody fell asleep 15 minutes into mass and slept through the whole service! We weren't quite sure how he would do. Cousin Jackson on the other hand let everyone in the church know he was there! :) We went to Grandma Diane's and Grandpa Mel's for Easter dinner on Sunday night. Jackson and Brody hunted for eggs inside and we had a very nice dinner.

This weekend we were also able to see our good friends Jordan, Stephanie, and their little boy Carter. We got to see them twice over the weekend which was nice since we have not seen them since the Holidays (they live 5 hours away in Minnesota). Carter is 6 months younger than Brody and we know that they will grow up being great friends!

Today Daddy turns 30 years old! We will be celebrating by having lunch together today and then Brody and Mommy will take Daddy to dinner tonight. This weekend Daddy and Mommy are celebrating their 30th birthdays together with a party. We have only left Brody a handful of times since he was born and never for longer than a few hours so I know we will really miss him at the party but we are looking forward to celebrating with our family and friends! Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend!
