Brody's First Haircut

We took Brody to get his first haircut today. Daddy has been making comments about getting it cut for a few weeks now so we decided it was time. Brody did great and did not cry once! We are very lucky to have one of Mommy's best friends, Natalie, as a hair stylist because Brody is around her often and comfortable with her which we think really helps! He looks so handsome with his new haircut! Mommy saved some of his hair to put in his baby book. Brody got a bath when we got home and his hair is so much easier to comb and style! He is looking very handsome just in time for the big birthday!

This weekend we celebrated Aunt Melissa's birthday and continued to work on the playroom which is coming along nicely. We hope to have it almost finished by this weekend. Brody continues to be on the go non stop, from the minute he wakes up until he falls asleep. He has been babbling for many months but is really starting to articulate sounds and make words in his own little language. His face lights up and he gets really excited when he sees Mommy, Daddy or Addie. We have started to take Brody out a little more now that we are getting closer to spring and the weather is getting a little nicer. He made his first trip to Target since the fall and went to lunch at Chili's on Saturday. He is quite the "little flirt" and really loves the attention he gets from women and girls. He will make little squeals to get noticed by anyone who is around. The more his personality starts to develop the more we know we are truly going to have a little heart breaker on our hands. It is hard to believe but in under three weeks we will have a 1 year old and we will be celebrating his first birthday party three weeks from today. We have been so truly blessed with such a beautiful, healthy, amazing baby boy. This year has completely changed our lives and we can't wait to see what the future holds.
