8 months-Week two

We have been very busy this past week around our house. Daddy spent last week in Las Vegas for work while mommy and Brody began putting up all of the Christmas decorations at our house. The decorating is done and so is almost all of the Christmas shopping! Brody was introduced to holding a spoon on his own and did pretty well with it, he was able to get the food to his mouth just not quite at the right angle. We moved Brody from his car seat carrier to a "big boy" car seat on Saturday. He was getting a little too long for his carrier and with his winter jacket on it was becoming a tight fit. It will definitely be easier to carry him around now because the carrier was getting really heavy!! Brody has discovered his tongue and how to stick it out so he is doing that ALL the time, he sticks it out to the side which is really cute! It is so funny to watch him as he discovers new things! Brody is now doing what we call the "spiderman" crawl (or army crawl) around the house on his belly. Yesterday he was able to make it the full length of our living room. When he sees something he wants he does whatever it takes to get there. We are getting ready to celebrate Brody's 1st Thanksgiving this Thursday. We are so excited to see our friends and family and for everyone to see Brody of course!
