19 Weeks - Lots of Changes

It's been very busy around the Wren house lately. I haven't had much time lately to post or update the site, so I'll try my best to give a detailed update on what's been happening around here and share some new pictures of our big boy.

On Monday Brody had his 4 month checkup. Poor little guy got 2 shots in his legs which he did not like very much. Lot's of crying and comforting from mom. Boy has he grown. He's a tad under 16 pounds now and has sprouted up to 24 1/2 inches long. Our doctor says he's doing great, he's meeting all of his milestones and making great progress. We think he's going to be an early crawler being that he loves being on his stomach so much.

He quickly grew out of his thumb sucking stage. That didn't last long once he found his index and middle fingers. He now prefers sucking on those 2 fingers at the same time.

It was a busy weekend, Tracy and I got out of the house for a few hours on Saturday night to take in Bix Fest. We fealt really old being around all the 21 year olds and began to miss our boy so called it an early night. On Sunday we joined the family and the Metz's for lunch at Jungle Bungle.

Monday was a sad day as we wished Grandpa Mike off. He landed safely in The Middle East today and will be living in the Desert for the next year. We'll miss him and pray for his safe return.
